Sayyid Magudoom Waliyullah: (Approximately 1275 A.D)

         Sayyid Magudoom Wali alias Muhammad Shamsuddeen Wali built Magudoom Palli which is at the corner of Magudoom street and Kuttical street. He lived during the later part of the 13th century and he was one of the descendants of Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alaihi wa sallam). He was a son of Sayyid Uthuman . During the lifetime of Sayyid Magudoom Wali Kayalpatnam was a thriving town and a well known port. According to Thaika Sahib Wali more than 12000 saints were buried in Magudoom Palli graveyard. Many of his descendants were saints and some-were migrated to Kerala and Madurai.
