Muhammad Lebbai Alim Wali: (1074 – 1130 A.H/ 1663 – 1717 A.D)
Muhammad Lebbai Wali was the son of Madihur Rasul Sadakathulla Appa. He was born on 1632 A.D He had five sisters namely Amina, Katheeja, Zainab, Ummu Hani and Sara Umma. He was appointed as the Qazi of Tamil Nadu by emperor Aurangazib. He visited Maldives and Andorot and gave religious discourses. He was a great Scholar and Mufti. He was buried in the Royal burial ground in Palayam Kottai near the present Palayam Kottai Bus stand. Some lands were donated to his descendants by Nawab Anwaruddin.
